Hold your peace!

"Ye have wearied the LORD with your words"
Malachi 2:17

"Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be"
James 3:10

We need to make better decisions with our words.Sooner or later, the things that we talk about will become realities. In Malachi, he says that our words weary God... Why? Because God knows that he put power in our mouth when he breathed his nature into Adam. He didn't take that away from man, and it wearies the Lord when we talk the way that we do. It would be like watching your five year old play with scissors. The power of the tongue was never meant to be in the hands of and unbeliever. The truth is that sometimes we ought to just be quiet. The world has put talkative people up on pedestals and labelled them outgoing. Luke 1:20 shows that sometimes the Lord just needs you to shut up so that his will can be done. He shut up Zacharias because he knew that he would screw everything up with his unbelieving words.

Take the Land

"You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger,
And brought them water out of the rock for their thirst,
And told them to
go in to possess the land
Which You had sworn to give them."

Neh 9:15

"And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee."
Deut 28:11

Thank you Lord for our land! Thank you for favor and supernatural influence. Father, we charge the angels of your kingdom to go forth and do every neccesary thing to help us to go in and possess it. We charge them to go forth and cancel any attack of the enemy. We bind the strong man in Jesus name and say unto him "loose our people and let them go". We claim every corner of our land, every person, every building and every mission for your glory!

The Key to Prosperity and Success

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Joshua 1:8-9

We still need to meditate in and observe to do God's Word today. When we do that, and constantly continue to do that, we make our own way PROSPEROUS and SUCCESSFUL. God said to do this regardless of whether fear, confusion, doubt or unbelief should arise in our minds. The best part of this is that the GREATER ONE is IN US... not only with us!

Wellwater

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
John 4:14

Jesus was talking about the Holy Spirit. Most people just don't what it's like to walk with God. Usually when the Holy Spirit is mentioned, people's minds go straight to Pentecost, and they separate the work of the Holy Spirit to an event or a now and then experience, and some totally believe that his works are a thing of the past. We need to realize that the Holy Spirit is real... more real than the air we breathe, more real than you because he was here first. He is here. It really doesn't matter whether we aknowledge him or not, he still there... but if we aknowledge him in everything that we do, he will direct us and teach us.

We need to pay attention to our inner man because that is where the Holy Spirit will teach us. Slow down and listen. Hear His instruction and/or correction and recieve it and do it without complaining or delay. Unlike everything the world tells you, where you must understand it before you do it... get yourself to the place where you understand it because you trust Him, not because you you have analyzed it to death.Listen and Obey and you will have a prosperous life! Jesus said that the well that he puts in you will be a spring that will give you never ending life.

Tempted

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man - James 1:12-13

The biggest temptation that believers face everyday is unbelief. I'm not saying that we have problem's believing that there is a God... but believing that God's word applies to us. To overcome temptation, God's Word must overcome the temptation by His Word becoming a reality in our life. When His Word is more real to us than the reason for unbelief, that's when we endure and overcome.

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
- James 1:14-16

Everybody gets tempted. This war is always waged in the mind. If every man is tempted, then every one must have thoughts of unbelief. Even Jesus was tempted in this manner. It is neccesary for God's Word to overcome those thoughts before the thoughts are played out, you make a bad decision, and therefore suffer the consequences.
Notice above that when you fail against temptation that it is because of your own lust. That means that God's Word didn't fail, but you decided to follow your own way.
